‘MISH MISH WOMEN’S AUXILIARY’ FOR THE ROYAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

‘MISH MISH WOMEN’S AUXILIARY’ FOR THE ROYAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Several ladies in our Women’s Health & Wellbeing class have come together to create an auxiliary for the Royal Childrens Hospital to raise funds for their Education department. The collective is called ‘Mish Mish’ (Mish meaning Apricot in Arabic). The women will hold a stall 3 times a year at the hospital to sell products to raise money for this great cause. Spotlight in Essendon, have kindly donated some more materials to assist the ladies and many of them will be cooking some delicious treats to offer as well.

Linda Dessau AC and her husband Mr Anthony Howard QC, to open up Government House to women who have recently arrived in Australia to assist them in connecting with their new country. The women are involved in many activities including gardening, cooking and craft.
